Durham Capital Investments Extend Support with Funds to Local Charity Partners

We are proud to announce the issuance of 12 new grants and donations to our charity partners around the world who are working hard to deliver humanitarian relief to those affected by Covid-19.

We have been working diligently over the last few months to put together an emergency consortium involving many of our institutional partners and companies in which we are invested, in order to build up a reserve of capital which we can then distribute to those which are most in need within the communities in our region.

We are delivering the much-needed funds to various charitable organizations in the Asia-Pacific region who are experiencing high demand for food and support due to the on-going challenges resulting from this crisis. We are also offering support in terms of any of the logistical or  administrative aspects involved in the distribution of these funds.

In addition we have set up an Employee Match Program in order to support our employees’ personal philanthropy beliefs, and we have organized virtual volunteer opportunities for any of our employees seeking to donate either time or expertise directly to our charity partners or communities that they are working in.

Our CEO Douglas Thompson said, “This crisis has not just suddenly been resolved with the emergence of the vaccines. There are long-term ramifications which have affected many communities, especially in some of the poorer parts of our region. It is important to give anything we can in order to help these communities get back on the feet, and we have to keep offering our support to those who are working tirelessly in order to serve the vulnerable in these communities. We are extremely proud to be able to do this, and I am personally extremely proud of the employees who are participating in the Employee Match Program and donating directly by action. We will continue to offer our support and we will keep working to identify additional areas of need.”
